frankFrank launched Frank Ciotta and Associates, Inc. in 1988 and has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate appraisal industry. Frank oversees the firm’s full portfolio of appraisals.

His analytical skills and aptitude for problem solving made him a natural fit for the industry.

At the age of 28, Frank earned the SRA designation, demonstrating his enduring commitment to the appraisal industry. Throughout the years he has continuously expanded his knowledge base and received the prestigious MAI designation in 2007. As a result, his firm has expanded its footprint to include the appraisal of all property types throughout the tri-state area, including high-end luxury residential properties, cooperative and condominium units, single and multi-family dwellings, mixed-use properties, office and industrial buildings, development sites, retail and commercial buildings, rent-regulated apartment buildings, and cooperative buildings including a gross sell-out and rental fallback value for underlying mortgages.

Frank graduated from Hofstra University with a BBA in Public Accounting in 1983 and is a member of the Appraisal Institute, where he currently serves as Director for the Long Island Chapter and is co-chair of its Residential Admissions committee. He is certified to transact business as a Real Estate General Appraiser in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, and is also a 203 (k) Consultant and Compliance inspector for the U.S. Department of HUD. In this capacity, he is responsible for the completion of Renovation Cost Estimates and fund disbursement on construction projects for renovation loans insured by the FHA.
